Our kitchens offer light fare with tasty excursions into both the traditional and international. It is made from organic products – from our own estate when possible. Florian Vogel, our young chef of the Camers Schlossrestaurant, describes his gastronomic concept in a nutshell: “Perfect products and impeccable craftsmanship”. As varied as our preparations may be – from the dishes served in Camers to those in the beer garden – you will always taste our commitment to quality.

The first meal of the day that our guests can look forward to!
Very early
Nobody sees an early bird, since they get up so early. But they do exist! And they can enjoy an early breakfast from 6 am in the hotel lobby. With fine coffees, teas and fresh croissants. Also great for guests who check out early in the morning.
Start of the day
The Gutshof-Restaurant’s breakfast room lifts the spirits. Very open, very friendly, lots of light. The (very) rich yet not overloaded buffet fulfils every breakfast desire. A lot of the foodstuffs come from our own farm. It doesn’t get any more fresh and organic than this.

At the end of 2024, the Michelin-starred restaurant Camers at Schloss Hohenkammer will close its doors. This decision is part of a realignment of the culinary offerings of the event hotel which will focus on its core business in the future. Changed economic conditions have noticeably affected demand, especially in rural first-class cuisine.
Since its opening in 2015 under the leadership of Michelin-starred chef Florian Vogel, Camers Schlossrestaurant has been an integral part of Bavaria’s haute cuisine scene. Just two years after opening, Vogel and his team earned a Michelin Star, which highlights the outstanding quality and creativity offered at Camers. “The great collaboration and cohesion within the team were crucial to our success,” emphasises Vogel. The combination of haute cuisine, regional products and excellent service turned our restaurant into a magnet for gourmets. “A heartfelt thank you goes out to our wonderful guests who have accompanied us over the years,” says Vogel. “Their loyalty and enthusiasm have made our work truly special.”
The culinary variety on the castle campus will be continued with the Gutshof-Restaurant, the Alte Galerie and the beer garden.
Schloss Hohenkammer GmbH
After many years, Camers, our castle restaurant – aka Schlossrestaurant –, has moved into its final location, a beautiful vaulted room in the castle itself, befitting of the restaurant’s stature.
The chef of Camers Schlossrestaurant is committed to surprising his guests. Florian Vogel frees “haute cuisine” of its strict conventionality and allows flavors to interact with one another, thus producing new taste sensations. Creativity and perfect craftsmanship characterise his work. On summer nights our guests can enjoy his creations on the restaurant’s beautifully situated terrace.

Guests can look forward to a typical Bavarian and Mediterranean cuisine that boasts a very special “ingredient”: only organic products are served in the Alte Galerie. Many of these products come from the Gut Eichethof estate, i.e. from our own production.
The “Alte Galerie” name dates back to the time when the room was used as an exhibition space. Today, the former gallery shows its talent for the rustic with its tasteful furnishings. The copper-clad bar – reminiscent of a brew kettle – and the motifs of beer labels from the old castle brewery provide just the right accents.

We will open the Alte Galerie instead of the beer garden in case of bad weather during the summer months. We serve the beer garden menu.
Behind the castle, just hidden from view and waiting to be discovered by all, is an especially beautiful version of the classic Bavarian beer garden, set on a bare wood floor.
The beer garden at Schloss Hohenkammer is an attracting place for our guests, who cherish it as an oasis in summer. It serves as a meeting place after a day of work and as a place to ‘chill out Bavarian style’; it is a place to relax, stretch one’s feet, chat or just be. Fresh beer, radishes, pretzels and other fine delicacies are always available.

In case of inclement weather, our Alte Galerie is open for you at the beer garden hours.
It is our job to lay the groundwork for your successful conference day – with everything that feels good. Catering obviously has a big part in that. It restores our guests, brings joy and spreads a sense of well-being. From morning till night.
Morning
Coffee, tea, snacks and the whole lot are ready when everybody needs a break. Either for everybody at Großes Gewölbe or delivered to your seminar room.
Midday
Lunch at the Gutshof-Restaurant is a big meeting point. There is lots to discuss, everybody wants to eat and it’s got to taste great of course. Our contemporary light and down-to-earth cuisine and the selection of vegetarian dishes are well praised. Once again, everything is organic and mostly grown at our farm.
Afternoon
Restore for the finish line. Coffee break in the afternoon. Treats await you at Großes Gewölbe. Or our service team surprises you in your seminar room.
Five o’clock
We do offer fine teas in our beer garden. But a cool lager and a crisp Pretzel are simply unbeatable. There is no better, more laid-back way to relax together – especially on a mild summer afternoon.
Evening
In the evening, a fine buffet from the Gutshof kitchen awaits all those with a booking. But we also recommend the rustic Alte Galerie where we prepare food from organic ingredients only. And the menu at Michelin-star-awarded Camers will tempt every gourmet!
Late in the evening
Our Cotta-Bar is open for last truths.
